Tahmina Omer is a contemporary naturalist
painter who lives and worksin Punjab,
Pakistan, A state offering amazing natural
scapes. Her colorful paintings pay homage
to her homeland and also focused on
traditionsrelated to women. Her distinctive
personalstyle emanatesjoy and peace and
expressesthe Punjabi culture's vibrantspirit
and atmosphere.
Punjab's landscapes, native kitchen
pottery, traditions, and farmers tending
to their fields are all brought to life with
contrasting and harmonious colors and
bold compositions. As the artist explains,
"I am a storyteller of my culture, and I
welcome you to join me on this visual
journey."
From a young age, she has believed,"You
can create anything once you see it in
your mind." She is a self-taught artist,
learned a lot from leading artists on
youtube. She participated in several
street-art competitions and others
(mostly related to culture and women) in
Pakistan and abroad.
Tahmina's artwork has been shown in
exhibitions in Pakistan and abroad,
including UAE and Italy. Recently she is
participating in Arte Laguna 20-21. Her
work was published RESILIENCE, A
Young artists Exhibition held by famous
Alhamra Art Gallary, in the cultural hub
